Refund policy

90-Day Trial & Return Policy

We offer a 90-day return policy, which means you have 90 days from the date you receive your item to request a return. To make the process as smooth as possible, we recommend keeping the original packaging — including the box — just in case you decide to return your chair.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it: in good working order, free from excessive wear, stains, or structural damage, and returned in its original packaging. You’ll also need your receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, please contact us at info@theflytt.co.uk and we’ll provide you with the necessary return information.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, along with instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

After receiving your return approval, you must submit the required photos of the item within 7 days. If the photos are not submitted within this timeframe, the return request will automatically expire, and the order will no longer be eligible for return.

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so we can review the issue and make it right.

In the case of possible delivery-related damage, please notify us at info@theflytt.co.uk within 72 hours of delivery.

Color Disclaimer

We do our best to display our product colours as accurately as possible. However, colours may appear slightly different in person due to lighting, screen settings, or natural variations between fabric batches.

Our chairs use a premium velvet fabric that can appear brighter, darker, or more reflective depending on the lighting and fabric direction. If colour accuracy is essential for your setup, feel free to contact us before placing your order — we’re happy to provide more details or photos where possible.

Exceptions / Non-returnable Items

We are unable to accept returns on clearance sale items or gift cards.

However, this does not apply to preorder promotions. All orders placed between 01 May 2025 and 31 August 2025 as part of our preorder offer remain eligible for return under our 90-day policy.

Exchanges

The fastest way to make sure you get the item you want is to return the item you have. Once the return is accepted, you can place a separate order for the new item.

Order Cancellations

Cancellation Window & Fees

We understand that plans can change. You may cancel your order for a full refund within 72 hours of placing it.

If you wish to cancel your order after the 72-hour window has passed, a cancellation fee will apply:

0–72 hours: Free cancellation and full refund.

After 72 hours: A non-refundable fee of £35 will be deducted from your refund.

Refund Process for Cancellations

Once your cancellation is approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method, minus the applicable fee if the request is made after 72 hours.

Please allow 5–7 working days for the funds to appear in your account. Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to process the refund.

Refunds & Restocking Fees

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and we’ll let you know whether the refund has been approved.

If approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method within 10 working days. Please note that your bank or card provider may take additional time to process the refund.

If your return is not related to a product quality issue — for example, if you changed your mind or dislike the colour — and the chair is returned in its original condition, a 20% restocking fee will be deducted from your refund to cover handling and repackaging.

If the returned item shows signs of wear, including scratches, stains, cuts, dents, or missing accessories or parts, a restocking fee between 20% and 50% will apply, depending on how far the condition is from the original delivered state.

If your return is due to a verified product defect or damage during delivery, we will cover the return shipping and no restocking fees will be charged.

If more than 15 working days have passed since we approved your return and you have not received your refund, please contact us at info@theflytt.co.uk.

The disassembly and repackaging of the chair is the customer’s responsibility and will not be handled by Flytt.

International Transaction Fees

Customers are responsible for any fees charged by their bank or payment provider in connection with international transactions. These fees are not eligible for reimbursement.

We recommend using PayPal at checkout where available, as this may help reduce or avoid certain international transaction fees.

Warranty

We offer a 24-month limited warranty against manufacturing defects from the date of delivery. This does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, staining, accidental damage, or damage caused by environmental exposure.

If any part of your chair is found to be defective during this period, please email us at info@theflytt.co.uk and we’ll assess the issue. Where applicable, we’ll arrange a repair or replacement.

This policy does not affect your statutory rights.
